New Family Member

For years I have been wanting a Maine Coon cat. Even my husband wanted a Maine Coon cat when we first met we talkied about it. Now that I'm kinda working (watching the grandkids ) and getting paid for it, I decided that it's time to look for my cat. We went to the Maine Coon rescue site but didn't find anyone there we relly liked. Then my daughter found an ad in our local paper the owner had to let them go because of allergies. So I called and we went to meet Emily (the cat) and we really liked her. Now I have Emily, she is 2years old,silver gray, has a pink nose, and is goregous!!! She has been hiding under our bed pretty much ever since she came to our house ,3 days ago, but last night I got her into the living area where she and the dog (112 lbs chocolate lab) got to know each other a little better. Our lab, is just a big baby, and wants to be apart of everything.

I believe Emily and Hershey will be very good friends in a few days. She is getting use to our house and all the new noises and smells.
